Tish

Practice Administrator & Office Maestro

Tish is the behind-the-scenes magic-maker who keeps the practice running like a well-oiled, perfectly scheduled, insurance-coded machine. From booking appointments and answering patient questions to managing records and navigating the always-exciting world of insurance and payments, Tish handles it all with a smile (and probably a very organized spreadsheet). 

She genuinely enjoys every step of the patient journey, from first hello to final smile reveal, and works hard to make sure the office feels like a welcoming, positive place to be. Working with Dr. Sarah and the dream team makes every day feel less like “work” and more like being part of something pretty special (with less drama than a reality show, but just as much fun). 

Outside the office, Tish is all about family time. She loves digging in the garden, whipping up deliciousmeals, getting lost in a good book, and going on adventures with her husband and two boys, who always keep life interesting, loud, and full of laughter. 

Meghan

Front Office Manager & Communication Coordinator 

With over 25 years in orthodontics (yes, she started at age 5... or so she claims), Meghan brings a deep well of experience to Dr. Sarah Orthodontics, from assisting to treatment coordinating to front desk magic. Her passion? Helping patients feel at home, heard, and happy every step of the way. Watching people grow more confident in their smiles and in themselves is what keeps her coming back every day (well, that and the good coffee). 

Meghan believes that strong relationships built on empathy, trust, laughter, and open communication are the true secret behind every successful smile. She wants every patient and family to walk away feeling not only well cared for, but truly remembered and valued. 



When she’s not lighting up the office with her energy, Meghan is off exploring life with her adventurous son Ronin and her very photogenic Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy, Koa. She’s a devoted Avett Brothers fan (ask her about her Red Rocks sticker collection), and she’s always either at a concert, planning the next one, or sneaking in time for paddleboarding, snowboarding, hiking, or playing at the beach. 

Austin

Front Desk King & Coordinator of Chaos

Originally from Rhode Island, Austin traded snow boots for flip-flops and now calls Virginia Beach home. As the front desk superstar, hospitality director and Coordinator of Chaos, he's one of the first friendly faces you’ll see when you walk into the office, and he’s genuinely excited to welcome you. 

New to the world of orthodontics but already loving every minute, Austin brings fresh energy, great vibes, and a can-do attitude that helps keep the whole place running smoothly (or at least entertainingly). Whether he's juggling appointments or cracking a joke, he's always up for making your visit brighter. 



When he's not helping patients or untangling the schedule, you’ll find Austin outdoors, likely soaking up the sun on the beach. He’s happiest with sand between his toes and a leash in hand, walking his beloved dog Toby, who may or may not be the real boss at home. 

Christina

Clinical Assistant & Smile Maker 

Christina is passionate about delivering an incredible patient experience to everyone who sits in her chair, and not just because she’s got all the cool instruments! She loves getting to know her patients and their families, and she’s been known to remember birthdays, favorite sports teams, and who just got their braces off like a total boss. Building bonds with her patients that last long after the braces come off is her specialty (second only to perfectly placed brackets). 

She feels truly blessed to have a job she loves, and it shows. You’ll feel that genuine joy and positive energy every time you walk through the door…. possibly along with the faint sound of her singing along to ‘80s hits. 

Christina is married and has two grown, handsome sons (she swears she’s not biased) and two energetic dogs who think they run the house, and they might be right. 



When she’s not working her orthodontic magic, you’ll probably find her digging in the yard, riding bikes, or soaking up the sunshine at the beach with her family. 

Kayla

Clinical Assistant & Smile Whisperer

Kayla has been rocking the world of orthodontics since 2012, and she still gets excited every time she sees a patient’s smile transform: it's like a real-life makeover show, but with more rubber bands. She’s passionate about helping patients understand every step of their treatment (yes, even the mysterious power chain) and is always happy to pause, explain, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident in the chair. 



Her patients’ comfort is her #1 priority (unless you count coffee and making her Dream-Teammates laugh) but it’s a close second. Kayla truly loves her job and honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. 

A proud Hampton Roads native, Kayla is married to an amazing man, and together they’re raising two beautiful, lively daughters who keep them on their toes and occasionally covered in glitter. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her with her toes in the sand or spending quality time with her family, and probably chasing someone with sunscreen in hand. 

Gayla

Clinical Assistant & Smile Enthusiast 

Since 2020, Gayla has been mastering the art of orthodontics, and she’s loved every minute of it. Whether she’s assisting with procedures, chatting with patients, or offering a reassuring smile, Gayla is all about making people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their journey to a great smile. Watching patients transform, inside and out, is what truly lights her up. 

She couldn’t imagine doing anything else (and honestly, she’s not sure what else could possibly be this rewarding). Gayla feels incredibly lucky to be a part of each patient’s story, and she brings compassion, kindness, and a calm presence to every appointment. 



When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find Gayla spending time with her daughter Mira, her fiancé, and a rotating cast of hobbies and adventures. Whether she’s exploring new places, trying something new, or just enjoying quality time with loved ones, she’s always sporting the biggest smile in the room. 

Audrey

Sterilization Tech & Aspiring Smile Superhero 

Audrey is a busy high school junior by day and a sterilization tech by... well, also by day. Years ago, the Dream Team fell in love with Audrey as a patient, then adopted her as one of their own, and are now grateful to have her around during summer and school breaks to help keep us “cool.” 



When she’s not busy at school hitting the books, hanging with friends, or swinging a field hockey stick, she’s making sure everything at Dr. Sarah’s office is squeaky clean and set up for our patients. Armed with gloves, a playlist full of bangers, and a borderline suspicious love of organizing trays, Audrey takes pride in keeping the tools of the trade spotless and ready for action. She is a dedicated athlete, a proud sister to two amazing siblings, and if Doctor Sarah has her way, a rockstar-future-orthodontist in the making. 

Brianna

Marketing & Social Media Director AKA Queen of the Content Calendar 

Brianna is the creative spark behind our social media and marketing magic. A proud West Virginia University grad with a degree in strategic communications, she’s been telling stories through a lens and a keyboard for the past seven years, and yes, she will stop you mid-sentence if the lighting is perfect for a photo. 

With a passion for visual storytelling and a knack for turning everyday office moments into scroll-stopping content, Brianna helps keep our brand vibrant, fun, and totally on-point. Whether she’s capturing a behind-the-scenes snap, dreaming up our next campaign, or sprinkling emojis like confetti, she makes sure our practice’s personality shines online. 



Outside the office, Brianna loves working with local businesses to help them grow their brand presence, and if you ever need a new profile pic, she’s got you. When she’s not behind a camera or screen, you’ll probably find her hunting down the best iced coffee in town with her husband or laughing at her own captions 

(because someone has to, right?).
